How do I stop Inbox Notifications?

Is there an easier way to stop notifications on blogs you have ccommented on other than opening notification and clicking Hide new activity?

See if this works.....go to the blog or discussion and at top right click on actions, uncheck inbox.

go to preferences on the pull down menu by your avatar and see what you have checked there for notifications

I was referring to inbox.  not emails.  Theoptions for inbox on preference does not populate. Not live.

read my earlier comment. That is how i stopped some of it. My inbox was loaded. Plus i had to go to each of my friends and uncheck inbox too.
