It tells how many people the particular post is reaching on the community in %.  The impact of the blog is also assigned a value and lastly is the sentiment over the blog post positive, neutral or negative.

Points are given for various activities you perform on the site as well when people indicate your content as valuable to them.  You get rewarded with a couple points for quality content.  Quality content makes the site more valuable.

Update 4/5/2017:

Global Reach: Reach conveys how widely viewed your content is in your community. We use a calculation based on number of registered users, and include web and mobile views only. This does not include those following content via email.

Sentiment: Sentiment indicates how well your content resonates with your audience. It is based on social action and views.

Impact: Impact shows how your audience reacts to your content by looking at their social actions, such as Likes, Comments, Bookmarks and Shares. Improve your Impact by @mentioning or sharing your content with either the entire community, or just a few members.

Email: The number of emails generated based on your content.

Hi, Bonnie.  When I click on my name (under avatar) or yours, I see the options beginning with Overview, then second from the end is Rewards.  When you click on that, all the Mission Badges are listed, and when you click on one of them, it tells what you earn, point wise, when you do certain things.  Hope this helps!
