How do you come up with the amount of money saved and the added years on life

I have seen various comments by people where they post how long they have gone without cigarettes, the amount of money the saved and the years they have added to their lives. Can anyone tell me how they are doing this? I've gone to gadgets and I can't find anything that calculates all this for you.
