Give and get support around quitting

First Day for a serial quitter

I've tried to quit almost every day this month and at least every month this year.  I have asthma and I am on medication Pulmicort and Spiriva and an inhaler for emergency.  I was hospitalized last year for an asthma attack.  Now every time I smoke I get sick to my stomach!

I can't take it anymore.  Everytime I light up I wonder if that's the smoke that is going to finally put my health over the edge where there is no return.

This last week has been really difficult with the morning craves - it's always "just that one last morning smoke then I'll quit"  Well not today - I'm done.  I really want this to be the final quit for me.

I've got my reasons to quit posted around the house, I've read a ton of info on nicotine addiction - I've seen pics of smokers lungs and people dying from smoking.  So I have a bunch of tools now I just need to make the quit stick!

I'm really excited about being part of this community.
