Its been about 12 hrs, staying busy.. doing ok so far. I dont like sweets so any Ideas on something else to snack on to fight the craving???? all ideas would be great.. Thanks
Water usually works, but chew on cinnamon sticks, celery sticks,carrots,cloves will usually turn you off the smokes.
I've been eating hard candy, the crunching helps with the anger at quitting so far, not good for my teeth,granted.
My dad has had cancer twice both due to smoking. I just found out hours ago that he now has cancer for a 3rd time. He's 75 and so weak and it scares me..my dad has always been my best friend. I'm still not smoking..but I don't know if there is a way to cope with this. Any advice for dealing with traumatic events? I've gotten the stress down but this was a curve ball I never expected...my dad is such a huge reason for me quitting.
