It's been 3 months since my last cigarette, and I'm actually starting to believe that I could really be a NON-SMOKER! But lately, I'm getting discouraged by all the statistics and talk on this site and others about how unlikely it is I will have continued success, given this is my first "quit". It seriously makes me feel like I'm doomed to failure - like I should just start smoking again so I can move on to my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and-so-on quit! And what defines a "successful quit" anyway?
I know I should just concentrate on remaining smoke-free today, but it's so difficult to ignore the fact when it's constantly waved in your face!
