Over 80 days smoke free, but eating like a refugee

I have just finished 4 days ago my three months of chantix, and therefore, I have not had a single cigarette for almost 3 months. I must say that it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. The side effects were minimal (disrupted sleep, weird dreams, some dizziness and, of course, a wrecked stomach if I ever took a pill without eating anything first). So I guess, I am well on my way to not smoking again.

HOWEVER, since a couple of weeks ago, my hunger (which has never been small) has grown ever more, and now, I am eating like crazy all the time.

Does it ever go away? Any ideas for a substitute? (I am chewing gum all the time, and that doesn't make it go away)

@aldo  I know what you're feeling. I have had times where I have felt very very very hungry but I've been very careful. Not related to chantix but I still understand. Hope all is well with you now.
