GIVE ME A GOOD REASON

Good reasons to quit:

1. live longer

2. no more coughing

3. no longer letting smoking control my life

4. don't stink like cigarettes

5. home, car, and clothes don't stink anymore

6. I can go anywhere I want and not worry about "no smoking" sections.

7. I've saved thousands and thousands of dollars.

8. I don't have to sneak anywhere to have a smoke.

9. I sleep better.

10. My blood pressure has gone way down and is normal after 35 years of having high blood pressure

11. My sense of smell and taste is better.

12. My grandchildren have never seen me smoke.

13. I feel better about myself.

I'll add another one. All the time spent smoking can now be devoted to more productive things. All those projects I used to put off while I had a smoke are now going to get done!

Wow, it's amazing how true that list is!!!!!! It's only been 10 days, but I am already starting to feel better, saving money, and my kids are telling me that I don't stink anymore. It's great. Sometimes it's still hard, but I have soooo much support from my family and friends and now this web site too. It's a great feeling.

Another big reason to quit is that I don't have to feel like a second class citizen. I always envied the "normal" people who could be anywhere and feel comfortable. No matter where I was I was always thinking, "How much longer before I can escape & go have a cigarette"?
