Just learned about the tagging function.
Can you add tags to old posts? If so, will it treat the change as a typical edit and send notifications to everyone on the thread? That's not something I would be interested in doing, so it's important to know.
Not sure many here have experience with this, so will mention our Admin Mark in case he is checking in this weekend.
You can tag 
old posts. I recommend only Two to three tags at most. Look at best practices document below.
You can only edit your posts tags. And nope it doesn’t send notifications.
