Give and get support around quitting

(: Well geesh!!! :)

Who'd have thunk it? I'm hoping the older I get the wiser I'll get LOL! At least I was wise enough to quit drinking nearly 10 years ago YAY PLUS I was wise enough to quit smoking over 6 years ago so I'm learning to live healthier in my old age, we really can do just about anything with the right Mindset and quitting smoking is definitely one of the things we can do for our health family and friends BUT most importantly our lives!!!!!

Reminds me of the poem:

Excerpt from "Warning"

by Jenny Joseph

"When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick flowers in other people's gardens
And learn to spit..."

I did a lot of calling over the Holiday month and was told it’s the holiday...what ever that meant...LOL...now after the holiday they have new excuses to giving customer service...anyways, both your posts made me a laugh which was much needed....Hugs Colleen
