My quit day

My quit day is today, but I have already gone 74 hours without a single puff. Patches are helping and have lots of hard candy on hand. Hope it sticks this time.

That line right there? That gives all your power away. You've already given in to the addiction.

Don't do that!

Take your power back by saying "It's my choice not to smoke. I don't do that anymore!"

Don't hope for it to go away by itself. Make a plan. Keep coming back here every day to carry it out.

You have the power to do this!

Welcome! Glad to hear you are doing well so far, hard candy was a lifesaver for me some days. I also chewed on a toothpick. Keep us posted and reach out if you need support or encouragement.

WAY TO GO BILL!!!  Big achievement making through 3 days.  Be sure to keep in touch.  We're all pulling for you.  Personally I'm on Day 49, and like you I've been using hard candy, nicotine gum and this website daily to help me out.
