How do you beat the shakes?

I'm on Day 2 right now, and doing well (by my standards). I'm working on weening myself off by at least one a day, and I've only had one cigarette in the 7 and a half hours that I've been awake; usually, I'd be up to at least 3 or 4 by now, and probably have one in my hand right now. The only reason I even had the first cigarette that I did was because I'm so used to having my first cigarette within fifteen minutes of waking up - I lasted 3 and a half hours before giving in this morning, because I was shaking and feeling disoriented. So, my question is, how do you guys deal with the withdrawal symptoms, if you have any at all?
