Extended use of Nicoderm nicotine patch

I have been diagnosed with small fiber nerve neuropathy ,I have numbness and pain in both my feet.that started about five years ago.  I do not have diabetes.. Is it possible the nicotine patches have done this to me.  I have been to many doctors and have no answers.

I myself have no experience with the patches.

Smoking can contribute to nerve neuropathy, but other than that, you really need to consult with a physician for a diagnosis.  There are numerous causes for peripheral neuropathy and only a medical person would be able to determine the cause.  Are you smoking currently?
