COPD and Flying

Can somebody with COPD fly in an airplane and if so, under what circumstances? Great question!

I wouldn't choose to fly if I have a choice. However, sometimes flying is the most practical means of transportation.

Here is an article about flying with COPD. I hope you find it useful!

Great articles Thomas...I am flying out in a little more than a week...I will wear a mask this trip...I am so tired of the dirty plans and all the germs...and to protect myself from any colds, flu’s, etc.,...I don’t have trouble with my lungs when I fly, but I do have it with my head...usually end up with a headache/migraine.  ~ Keep healing and taking care of YOU...~ Colleen 415 DOF
