If I've gotten your quit date wrong, be sure to update it and then go through the steps to sync it to the community.

Please check your Community Profile to see if you've indicated how many cigarettes on average you smoked per day. Then go to the My Quit Stats tab in your profile to see how many cigarettes you have avoided or put the mouse over your username and then click the little "ex" button in the lower left of the hovercard pop-up.

Hi Mark,

I am on day 4. I have been taking the bupropion er and have patches but have not used them. I feel my cravings and some are stronger than others. I feel like if i can get past a few days without having any nocotine in my system, then maybe I will be able to not use it ever. Am I setting myself up for a relapse failure? Or should I used the patches and make it easier to deal with cravings or less intense cravings?

Thanks,

John

I successfully used Welbutrin and nicotrol inhalers this time.  It's really up to you.  Quitters have been successful with or without NRT.  If you haven't needed the patches for 4 days, then there may be no need to start now.

Big congrats on 4 days smoke free.  We're here for you if you need support.  Just reach out.
