Good habits to replace smoking ?
It's an excellent opportunity to take up a new hobby. Is there something you're curious about or have thought about doing in the past (but never did)? Here are some ideas: learn to play a musical instrument, plant a tree and let its growth serve as a reminder of your commitment to your health, read a book about something you're interested in, reach out to an old friend you haven't spoken to in a while, and spend time on here interacting with other folks who have been where you're at right now.
Just last June I taught myself how to play the harmonica. I can't read music but I have found a website that shows yo the holes to blow or draw on. If you know the song you can learn how to play it I can play several songs now. It's especially great on cold rainy nasty days when I'm alone and wife is at work.

I quit about 3 1/2 years ago. I still carry around a bottle of water a lot of the time.
