I quit vaping on August 14th. I got through the 3 worst days of withdrawal. I then became really motivated and happy to have quit. About a week into quitting I became very emotional and depressed. I then got overwhelmed with sadness and vaped that day. Since then, I haven’t vaped in 2 days, but I am still extremely emotional and depressed. I’m not sure if this is a normal issue I just have to work past? Advice would be very helpful
Most likely you are experiencing a lack of dopamine. Nicotine actually makes an artificial dopamine connection which if not replaced feels like sadness. The good news is that it can be replaced naturally:
