If I've gotten your quit date wrong, be sure to update it and then go through the steps to sync it to the community.

Please check your Community Profile to see if you've indicated how many cigarettes on average you smoked per day. Then go to the My Quit Stats tab in your profile to see how many cigarettes you have avoided or put the mouse over your username and then click the little "ex" button in the lower left of the hovercard pop-up.

Thanks for the mention! My stated quit date was today, but I started

earlier. This is Day 17 w/o a cigarette!! 1st 3 days were TERRIBLE!!!, day

4 I nearly lit up, but I came thru ok. Now, other than an occasional bout

of testiness, I am ok.

Congratulations, everyone.  Special shoutout Knight1‌ on 17 days.  Remember we are here, stay close to the site and reach out if you need some extra support.  The beginning is pretty tough but it DOES get easier.  I came here every morning and every evening when I first quit and now I have more than five years.  I absolutely committed to not smoking again and, with the support from this site, I found that I really could do this one day at a time.  That is the ONLY way to do this!

Good for you.
