So sorry about this particular homecoming. One thing is certain. When it comes to pets, their love is always unconditional and because of that, Merlin will always be there in your heart, just as you were always in his. I wish you peace on this hard day of memories.

This is Merlin with my husband last fall, he is as broken up as I am over this. Merlin had a god life though and 11 years is along time for a Cane Corso ( Italian Mastiff) especially his size

Oh honey, I am so sorry, it is so hard and he was such a beautiful beast...he will always be with you. Saying goodbye is so hard.

All pet owners know your pain. I went through it last July when our beloved Jackson (9 yrs old) crossed over the rainbow bridge. It still hurts when I think of him. Be brave and keep his memory in your heart.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Merlin, he was a beautiful dog. I've lost 3 dogs and 3 cats so I understand.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss of Merlin. What a beautiful dog he was. He had a lot of love from you all and obviously had a fantastic quality of life. That's the gift you gave him and that's the best a pet could ever ask for. You're family is in my prayers!
