Thanks for reporting. I'm not sure why it is an identical list, It wasn't that way until recently(see: Difference between Newest Blogs and Recently Active Blogs? ). It shouldn't be. The "Newest Blogs" should be a list based on when the blog was posted. The "Recently Active Blogs" should be ones that recently have comments independent of when they were posted. So when someone comments on any blog old or new, it should bubbled back to the top. The Recently Active Blogs was added because of the issue with the "Newest Blogs" widget being blank on occasion while they figure out what is happening. (the "recent blogs" window is empty again and https://excommunity.becomeanex.org/message/161465-the-recent-blogs-window-has-gone-empty-again-as-of... )

Dale, be sure to ask things like this in Community Help‌ so it get's my attention and since it's related to the site and not quitting. That way I get notified. I've moved it. Thanks elvan‌ and Giulia‌ for mentioning me to bring to my attention.

When there was one box with double the blogs you wanted to hit the more button after you went through them.

When you see two sets of the same posts it sends a signal you've seen it all.

Hummmm I didn't notice it until you mentioned it I can't think of any good reason for it other than another site issue that needs looked at.

It looks odd to me.

More like, a mistake.

It sends a mixed message

"We don't have enough posts so were going to post them twice?"

Wow I never noticed isn't that awlful! surely Mark knows doesn't he? I guess I haven't been on line as much lately at least not on the homepage so I never noticed but it really should be fixed.

Active Blogs/Newest Blogs grouped have been that way for over a week or two. If they fall in the same category they will be there more than once.
