Give and get support around quitting

Does anyone else drop things constantly?

l know this isn't the place to ask about other conditions than smoking but I'm hedging my bets and taking my chances as it were.  My hands keep opening up and I'm constantly dropping things.  They did it before I quit smoking too so I know it's not a side effect from that.  They are getting worse though.  No pain or numbness they just open up.  I'm trying to embroider a gift for my mom but I keep dropping needles, thread, needle threader, scissors, and the project itself. GRRR, I'll never get it done in time for Xmas at this rate.  I really don't want to spend the money to go to my regular doctor and then have to shell out even more to go to a specialist.  I'm thinking a neurologist would be the doc to see but would like to know if anyone here knows anything about who to see or if others on Ex have the same problem.  Thanks!

Julie

You already know you need to consult with a doctor for this.   The possible causes are endless.  Consulting with PCP to determine if you need a specialist is probably the best course.  Hope you can find some help with this..
