Thank you my dear friend!! You were one of my strongest guides the many times I was ready to up and quit quitting in the early days, but there you were clearing the path, as well as teaching me by your example the concept of paying it forward! (You're almost exactly two years ahead of me on this pathway ) ... and giving me a daily dose of "Jan" laughs along the way.
I will NEVER forget your description of the interaction between Iris and your bare toes... I must've howled for weeks at the mental picture my brain drew!!
As to the "kind" part... don't forget I was often armed with this... Girl hits herself in the head with a frying pan! - YouTube
I would have used this but didn't want to preempt or insult dear Jordan

(I don't know how to get a youtube directly here instead of just a link. )
Congratulations again, marciem on a great quit and for all the help that you have given others in their quits over they years.
Thanks beazel!! I do miss the old homestead and I'm so glad to have familiar faces like yours over here. You sure kept us all going with your great games!! This is an awesome quit-site also, and I'm still trying to learn the ropes.
LOL.. I was never one that actually "used" that frying pan... it was merely a do-it-yourself suggestion if someone was in need of some tough love ... as a 'what WERE you thinkin'?" at a relapse.
CONGRATULATIONS Marcie!! Thanks for taking the time to inspire so many here and in our former life. You are always kind and patient with your responses. Not only have you helped people to quit and stay quit but you have educated us on how to live a healthy life after quitting even when you are faced with what could happen to any of us.
