Greetings, friends.
If you're willing and able and have some freedom time under your belt, please share with me/us info about when during this process I will feel as though I am living again instead of just struggling. I feel far more enslaved at this moment and during these last few days than I ever felt while smoking. It's just a fight every. single. minute--unless I am asleep. I'm a true negative no-nic lately. It's very difficult to be around me right now. Ya' know?
Thanks so much. I'm off to buy some Doritos. Or a milkshake. Back shortly.
P.S. I'm on day seven. No nicotine; no smoking.

I KNOW this is not easy! It is why I have remained quit for 6+ years-----I never want to go through the early days again.
Stay busy! Go for a walk! Count the red things in the room. This is going to take some major effort on your part for the first couple of weeks Do NOT just sit around and think about not smoking. Change your mind's direction.
This is not easy - but it IS doable. Keep doing it. It will get easier, I promise!
