I get the craziest hot flashes since my quit. I literally break out in a sweat. Anyone else?
I did not but some have mentioned excessive sweating.
Yep. The burst of sweat was real .I think my body and mind were working together to get me to smoke. Did not happen. Hang in there. The ride can get rough .
Hangin in but I tell ya it’s not fun breaking out in a sweat. Maybe it’s MANapause
Hahaha! I'm still laughing, no, ladies have Menopause, men have Womanopause! haha! I am going to laugh for the next half hour, and probably throughout the day thinking on this one! Thanks Ralph!
I think its normal. I have heard it to be common. Think of it as all the toxins leaving your body and that always made me feel good. Of all the crap they put into a cigarette....lot and lots of chemicals. Your cleaning out and our body gets rid of all that crap through our urine and when we exhale and when we sweat.
Say goodbye TOXINS!
Now go get yourself a refreshing glass of ice water or mineral water to help along!
Ah toxins I didn’t think of that. They must be pouring out of me
Not really hot flashes, but I would get really warm for a few minutes.
Yes! I'm deeeee--ligted to hear a man ask this. I thought, well, I was pretty sure it was the mighty menopause coming to rear its ugly head. Hot flashes galore over here.
Bahahahahahahahaha! I can't stop laughing!
I can tell you that I never had to wear deodorant before I quit, but now I do! I sweat and get the nasty smell to go along with it! EWE!
Ha! You probably should have been wearing deo, but you just could not smell yourself. Oh mercy...!
Ya, maybe, hahaha! But I'm thinking that someone in my family would have told me if I was smelling like B.O. I definitely tell my girls when they do! haha! Another good one, thanks to Ralph1955
You might want to mention it to your doctor...do you have a pulmonologist? Sometimes hot flashes go along with COPD. I know that I get them sometimes when I really don't exert myself very much. It's just a thought...do you have shortness of breath? It may really be the toxins leaving your body and that would be a great thing but I wouldn't dismiss it unless they go away.
I've had a few weird hot flashes. It's the oddest thing.
DonnaMarie I usually work out at a friend's house in a pool but I have had to use my stationary bike for the last two days...ceiling fan on, fan facing me, air conditioner on...I was completely soaked when I got off the bike. Granted, I did ten miles but there was no reason for me to be that ridiculously dripping wet.
You’ve been hot flashed . Mine are slowing down; only had 2 today. Gets better
I have been quit for over 4 1/2 years...I think mine are probably here to stay...I COULD try moving to Canada.
LOL or Alaska
Yep...could but won't although if it keeps getting hotter and hotter, it might be warm up there.
