Ever since day one of not smoking .. After eatting i will end up looking 2months prego all day no matter what i eat (bloated).
It has been going on for 27days so far. When will it go away ?
Another member Sandy-9-17-17 had the same problem and did extensive research to find remedies. Go to her page and read some of her blogs on the subject to see if it is what you are experiencing. I believe this is the latest blog that she wrote on the topic. Progress!
Day 153.....still "bloated".....Started eating "Activia" , making my own "Miso Soups" from scratch and eating a few other items considered filled with Probotics....
Let me know what works for you and we can compare notes and bloats!! LoL
Okay, I have to make light of the subject becuase it can feel pretty miserable....Eeeeeeeek!
Miles of Smiles
So you are at 27 days of no smoking???? How fabulous is that?!!! Congratulations You should be so proud of yourself!!
As for the bloat, I always recommend getting a doctor's opinion. We can't see you and we don't know your medical history. While it could be smoke related, it may not be as well. Take good care of you!!
Having digestive problems after quitting is the norm. What you are describing sounds like constipation. I think most people experience constipation because the nicotine speeds things up. Your body will adjust. Some Milk of Mag might help. Congrats on quitting smoking.
Thanks(: and really dont think its constipation lol I've been going once or twice a day lol
Oh I believe you and believe me, it is no fun walking around looking like a pregnant grandma! haha!
I get these two items from Swansons Vitamins online, the cost for both including shipping is around $25
It was the greatest find for me, and if you try them, I hope you get the same results I did.
I think I forgot to actually paste the two items to that post, so here they are Cat863
Ultra BioCore Optimum Complete and Premium Betaine HCl Hydrochloric Acid w/Pepsin
Since finding the two products I found posted in www.steadyhealth.com I have found relief ! This is the one thing that could cause someone to give up on their quit. I did not consult my doctor, but if you think you should, then do it!
Here are the two products that have been working for me.
I have tested them by taking for a couple of days, and having relief, to not taking them for a couple of days and bloating right back up. I do not go without them now, and have not been suffering with the bloat ever since. Eating healthy is always a good thing to be doing as well! I wish you luck with the bloat! But do not let it cause you to give up your quit....congrats on all of your days won this far!
Sandy 309 Days Of Freedom
Congratulations on your 27 days...the bloating will pass. I would absolutely try what Sandy suggests...I didn't know about that, all I did was to increase the magnesium I was already taking and I accepted the fact that my digestive system was responding to no nicotine stimulants and a really healthy diet...it was sort of in shock.
