Day 3

Day 3 and I feel nauseated.  Headaches. Tired. Not hungry. Praying i feel better soon. Thanks for all the tips and support. I also am using cream of tartar with OJ.

It does get better! Hang in there. Try some mint or chamomile tea; both work wonders for me when my stomach is off. Even just a mint is a help. Take it easy on yourself in these early days, as much as possible!

If you are using meds it may be an adjustment period.  Let us know more so we may better help you.

Congratulations on making the decision to quit smoking. You have come to the right place for a new day and a new beginning.. This is all about you and what you are willing to do to be smoke free. Quitting smoking requires hard work.  It can be challenging at times but you will learn that it is doable if you adhere to NOPE not one puff ever no matter what. 

Start first, by educating yourself about nicotine addiction.  

Education is the key to a successful quit.

Thank you  everyone is helpful.  Day 5. No nauseas or headache. Feeling anxious tho  I should mention I've been smoking 50 years

I smoked 47 years and there are people here with 50+ years.  It's so worth it and it DOES get better.  Remember that we are here and stay close to the site, I came here every morning and every evening when I first quit and even after more than four years, I still try to do so.
