Random thought...

I was just thinking about the one and only time I have ever had strep throat. It was about 6 years ago and I have never experienced that kind of pain before. It was like broken glass going down my throat.  I remember crying in pain. Me. A grown woman. I couldn’t talk. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t drink. But I smoked the whole time.  My addict brain did not care how much more pain it was causing me.  I was smoking no matter what! How sick is that?

You might be sick but you're awesome! I have had strep throat so many times in my younger years, I smoked too! I couldn't eat or drink much but I never let my addiction down. Yep...sickos we can be!
