I love summer and am usually fine with the switch from Standard time and daylight time. This year it's throwing me off guard for some reason. Here's what I'm thinking about the solstice so far.
Ugh, the evenings are gonna get so much longer.
Personally I love having longer evenings. Gives me more outside time. I rarely go outside in the winter unless necessary. Funny thing, I grew up in the snow belt and moved to the 'bible belt' and have stayed in the south ever since. I believe that any temp below 55 degrees should be a negative number! I miss my summer kitchen! I'm the grill master and do most of my cooking in the summer outside. Bring it on DST!
I get up at 4 AM so not a fan of Spring Forward. l am HUGE FAN of Spring!
I know about that one Thomas, I went to bed at 1:30 EST Saturday night and was up at 4:30 EDT yesterday because I haven't adjusted yet. I always thought the 'losing an hour' and 'gaining an hour' was a bunch of malarkey but as I get older I do believe those are true statements
Dont know where to put this pic so Ill put it here. !! Finally have the mates of the socks that keep missing.
Yes, you have to feed the dryer monster once in a while to appease it so it will dry your clothes.
