I really hope that your pain level is down some from the knee surgery, know that you are missed, keep resting and get healed up, sending a gentle hug to you Nancy. Youngatheart.7.4.12

No. I was going to call but thought - who knows when it's a good time or a bad time and the times are hard for her right now. So I just - sit here knowing that she's going through a bit of hell but that this time will pass.
Having studied a LOT about knee replacements and watched several full videos on them, (Because I'll need one and more probably two) I know that they put you on morphine for pain. That kind of tells you what kind of pain you might be experiencing that you need to get through. Just saying. But then you're half out of it too (I hope), so that might help a bit. That she will be the champion of her knee replacement I have no doubt. That it's a bit more than imagined it might be - might also be true. But one thing I don't do is worry about Nancy. She's as tough as nails, as humorous as an upside down mind can happily be, and as willing to face the truth that's necessary to overcome whatever is needed to overcome.
Balance, ah yes. Thinking about her earlier tonight actually inspired me to get on my wobble board and try to improve my ankle problems. If SHE can do anything - SO CAN I !!! The people who inspire us to strive to be the best that we can be, or at least better than we were - are numerous on this site. That's one of the blessings of this site. And Nancy and Ellen, and Sharon, and Smorgy and Thomas and you and Tommy and DianeJoy and.... the list goes on and on and on. I think we all must have some nails that have been driven into us, to keep the boards of ourselves together - whether emotionally or physically. And we have become tough as nails during our growth process. Until we have become so tough that we can dance on nails.
Youngatheart.7.4.12 I join with others in thinking of you and hoping that things are getting at least a little easier. I am so glad this is over for you. Love you, Ellen
Youngatheart.7.4.12 So, I add my voice to the others and hope you are doing well. My Mom had two knee replacements.....one when she was 88 and one when she was 92. Believe it or not----she did better with the one at 92! The itching must mean you are healing.....that has to be a good sign. Take care and rest if you can.
Stay Strong.
It's really nice to see you Sharon, I hope you're doing ok my friend and Fellow Exer, big hug xo.smorgy8513
smorgy8513 Been thinking of you a lot since Pennsylvania is "hanging out" in Minnesota tonight!!!!! Hope Minnesota "nice" isn't too offended by "bad, bad Philly" The fans can be ...................................."boisterous"?
Hope you are well.
Please get better soon Nancy! Sending prayers! xoxo
