I haven't lost a lighter since I quit smoking.
How 'bout you?
Thanks Dale, I haven't even owned a lighter since quitting smoking and a book of matches last a long time since we're only using them to start a fire in the wood furnace in the mornings. it's all positives when it comes to quitting smoking.
No - but one day I was looking for a match or lighter to start my charcoal grill and not one to be found anywhere.......
I had the same problem Jen. ANNOYING!
Oh and I must confess, I sadly miss a handy ashtray for my knitting/handwork bits.
Now they're all over the floor each night.
You'd think I'd make a plan before I sit down...but noooo....oh well. The cats enjoy them when the fan is on.
LOL very funny. Happy Friday!!!
I just realized the other day that this is the first time in over 8 months that I did not have in any pockets either a pack of cigarettes, a lighter, a pack of gum, a container of lozenges, several pieces of hard candy, or a cut off straw. I can actually fit my hands in my pockets.
I have a shirt without a pocket. :-) It's dam annoying because I have no place to put my phone.
I have grandkids left them at walmart. Can you blame me? I saw a beach" ! :O
I keep the few lighters I still have next to whatever candles I still have in the house. On the other hand, I've got a lot of ashtrays to give away!
I actually still have a couple of those plastic lighters from back when they gave you free ones each time you bought a carton of cigarettes. Now I only use them for lighting candles or the fire. I think the new milestone for me (after 11 years 11 months quit) will be when there are no more plastic lighters around from "the old days" and I actually have to buy one! lol
