Smoker's flu?

I quit December 4, 2016 and this time the journey has been pretty easy, until the sinus issues started. Stuffy sinuses, sore throats, etc.. I am wondering if smoking masked allergy problems or maybe delayed onset of 'smoker's flu'. Anyone else had this and do you have suggestions that helped you?

Did you quit in 2016 or 2017?  If you have been quit over a year I doubt your symptoms are quit related.  I do hear of several who have been quit a month or so that do get a cold. That seems to be common.  Perhaps part of the healing process.

I agree with Jennifer that if it has only been a few weeks, this is likely your body cleaning house...getting the toxins out of your lungs and sinuses.  Be patient.  Drink lots of liquids, you'll feel better.

Smoking did not protect you. Keep the faith and protect your quit.

Hope you feel better soon.
