Chest tighten after quitting smoking

i quit smoking almost 4 days ago since last day i’m feeing tighten in my chest does any one know wether it’s normal or should I see a doctor

I had the exact same thing.  I had shortness of breath too.  I went to the doc and had a bunch of tests done but they showed that lungs were fine, I actually had a slight heart condition but it was not from smoking or quitting.  I still get the tightening and shallow breathing but it isn't so bad or as often.  Keep an eye on it and head to the dr. if it gets worse.  Personally I think it's just another withdrawal symptom but I could be wrong.  You're in my prayers!

Thank you for sharing your exprience now my tighten in chest is bit relieved as I m going for regular jogging and walking around 20 minutes each day and drinking green tea ones a day and lots of water.

Could be anxiety, but don't ignore the problem if your chest continues to bug you. 

Congratulations on 4 days! Way to go.

Thank you . Now it’s almost half when compare to yesterday 

as the respected member of this community told me even i’m now sure that this is withdrawal symptoms .
