bupropian+patch

is bupropian + patch effective in quitting. or gums are better.

I would talk to your doctor about it - since it involves a prescription. I used Welbutrin. I had also purchased some nicotine lozenges to use along with it. However, it turned out I was able to avoid the NRT - and returned them for a refund! Besides the medication - and even more important for me - was doing the reading to'prepare and getting the support here on the site. Congrats on deciding to Quit!

iam on bupropian for last 7 days but not finding it effective. also my doctor prescribed for only 4 weeks. so having patch on. my second day quit is on. it's going smooth. very comfortable. I don't believe pain is gain.

ampan75‌ I honestly did not think the bupropion worked that fast.  I know that most antidepressants take two weeks or longer to build up in your system AND I thought you were supposed to increase the dose of bupropion to twice a day at long as you tolerate it.  PLEASE talk to your pharmacist...pharmacists can call doctors and make recommendations.
