I bought myself a hand-held solitaire game to keep my hands busy. I have used licorice, drinking lots of ice water, and staying busy. I also reward myself for the money that I've saved, which is almost $14,000.00 since I quit. I bought myself a cell phone when I quit. I have more money to get bills paid on time, buy groceries and put gas in my car. The financial crisis that we're going through makes it even more important to stay quit, not to mention the fact that I make alot less trips to the store. I used to drive 60 miles to this one casino because they had the best discount on cigarettes. There were so many insane things I did to continue and protect my habit. Today I can't think of any good reason to smoke. None. I've invited people to give me a good enough reason to give up my four years of not smoking and no one has answered my request. Good thing, huh?
