Give and get support around quitting

finally did it

Hello everyone!
after smoking for over 40 years and sabotaging each quit I ever had, I fought tooth and nail for this one.

I quit November 3, 2007. YIPPEE

For some unknown reason this week has been especially difficult. I think it was easier in the winter, but now that spring is here, I have new habits to learn

Spring does make it tough--you just want to go out there with your cigarettes and enjoy the sunshine. I've been taking some really, really brisk walks. I still end up winded and lightheaded, but there's no way I could smoke at that pace. I'm hoping it'll help me keep the extra weight off, too.

Spring seems easier for me. I like to run and ride my bike. Winter is tougher, it's so cold and there is not much to do. Sue
