Dale's Blog spurred my brain to start a new weekend distraction game. Beginning with the Letter A - find words that relate to quitting.
I'll begin with...
ADHERENCE - Commitment to one's quit.
Next.........
Bullheadedness
A willingness to get through the rough patches.
Nancy
Calm - How you feel when you no longer stress about running out of cigarettes, finding a place to smoke one, or smelling like a dirty ashtray.
DETERMINED to be smoke free.............
EUPHORIC.....FEELINGS OF HAPPINESS AND EXCITEMENT STACKING UP THOSE DAYS
Well---I got the "no brainer"-------
FREE!!!! FREEDOM!!!!
I thought of gassy and grouchy because they both described me in the beginning but NOW...NOW, I will go with GRATEFUL!
FRUSTRATED - that I wasn't THERE yet!
(I know - I did two letters ---- I'm an overachiever -----what can I say??)
Actually, I was thinking in terms of beginning with A and running through all the words with A that relate to a quit. Then the B's, then the C's etc. But, since it's already begun, if there's enough interest, when we get to the Zzzzzs we can begin anew with the A's.
There's no limit on the amount of times you can chip in with a word. Overachievers are welcome! lol
Gratified - when I finished the initial journey and achieved my first taste of freedom from addiction.............
