Get A Hobby. Try New Things

Digital Photography

You can get an inexpensive digital camera for $100 or less and see if you like photography. If you find you really like it, you can get a camera with a pretty decent lens for $300 and up. If you have a computer or other device to save them on It doesn't cost anything after that.

Most yarn stores have knitting, crocheting lessons - and cross stitch is fun and easy!  One year I made 20 intricate cross stitched and beaded Santa ornaments as Xmas presents.  They were extraordinary (if I do say so myself).  The first one was the most frustrating thing I have EVER encountered and I ended up ripping the canvas from taking out the stitches so many times ----- and I cut that puppy to pieces with scissors and threw it ALL over the place.....but figured out how to do it!  Advice to any other beginners:  try something simple to learn on!!!!
