Those Pesky Receptors Do Normalize

One of my biggest obstacles to quitting was wondering

if I would ever be able to be free of smoking.

My concern was the nicotine receptors.

I feared they would never stop wanting nicotine.

Until I did my research.

It's all about education!  When we understand the why, it becomes easier to conquer the what.  I wonder if in the 8 years since this piece was written there's newer info on it.  Just found this which is kind of interesting.

So even though it only takes about 3 days for the nicotine to be mostly cleared out it takes 6 to 12 weeks for the nicotine receptors to clear out .

We always need to remember that those receptors are more than willing to wake up...at ANY given time.
