When I finally admitted to myself that I did not "want" to smoke but I was addicted  to nicotine.  Addiction meant that I could not smoke even one puff or I would have to start again from day one no matter how many days/years I had not smoked. Knowing that the first week of quitting was bad, I did not want to have to start over and kept this thought in my mind every time my addicted brain would whisper it was ok to just take a puff.

Chocolate might be worth the risk.... smoking is not!
