I saw your picture and cried tears of Joy and you Dale have given ME peace hope and HELP ME REMEMBER .... God loves me unconditionally and continues to show ME with how deeply God cares too... indingrl.01.06.2011 I am SO SORRY for all that you are going through. You do know that you did not Cause your daughter's alcoholism and you cannot Control it, and you cannot Cure it. It is sad to watch someone you love be in such trouble. My heart goes out to you. This photograph is so peaceful and beautiful, I am so glad that Dale shared it and that you get some comfort from it.
Blessings,
Ellen
Beautiful photo. The reddish hue is spellbinding.
Indingrl.01.06.2011 sending the energy of love for comfort and support. I am familiar with the anguish and helplessness you are experiencing as you watch your daughter drink herself into ill-health.
I'd like to share a couple things I learned:
1. God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can and Wisdom to know the difference.
2. A reminder -
Beginning today, right this minute, I will be good to myself. I will not allow myself to drown in the whirlpool of distressed thinking about alcoholism and it's results. Confidence and hope will immunize me.
"I pray for help to fulfill my responsibility to myself; only then can I help others."
Love & Light,
Michele
