I was on a very small dose of wellbutrin and it didn't hurt! also used NRT. been 895 days now. YOU ARE DOING THIS AND YOU SHOULD BE VERY PROUD!
ready2021 So proud of you! CONGRATULATIONS! 31 days is great. NRT is nicotine replacement therapy like patches or gum or lozenges. If you have restless leg syndrome, I think there are other more effective medications for that, more effective that Wellbutrin, I do believe that Wellbutrin might make the early stages a bit easier. I did not have issues with sleeping but I know a lot of people who did. You are doing GREAT!
I feel great and then It comes back but goes away quickly I guess it takes time to feel great all the time I mean about not smoking the urges last all about a sec or 2 the main thing I have not smoked in 32 days today Its so great that I want this so bad.
I could not be happier for you! Keep on truckin'. You are in No Man's Land now and will be until around day 130 so be prepared for craves to come out of "nowhere"...to pop up and surprise you. They are memories and they will not last, every time you go through another period of time where you feel like you want to smoke but you DON'T smoke...you get stronger and the nicodemon gets weaker. You are doing this, I cannot tell you exactly when you will feel that a big part of the challenge is gone but I can promise you that it gets easier. It takes time and there are no shortcuts. Smoking will do nothing FOR you!

Hi, Ready, and congratulations on 31 days! And belated Happy Birthday, also! It sounds like you are doing great with your Quit. I haven't really "met" you, but I just wanted to jump in and introduce myself. Hi, I'm Sky, my Quit is almost five years old. I suppose that a lot of the newer Quitters think that someone with a longer Quit can't possibly remember what it feels like during those first days and weeks. But we do. You never forget what it feels like to beat an addiction...and to stay committed to your promise to yourself to never, ever let yourself fall prey to a nicotine addiction again. So please contact me if you ever have any doubts about your Quit or think you might be happier if you went back to smoking...I will help you remember all the reasons why you quit and the benefits that you have gained since quitting. Just like all the Elders here, I'm open to hearing from you, Ready. I have faith in you!
xxxooo, Sky
YAY! AWESOME! CONGRATULATIONS! 31 days is a wonderful accomplishment! Keep up the great work! I know you are just a bit ahead of me in days and I look forward to taking this journey with you!
You are doing so awesome!!! I'm sitting here smiling and rooting for ya!
The thing with Wellbutrin, or really any drug, it can affect different people different ways...that's why there are so many of them out there. It really boils down to how it affects you and what your side effect tolerance is. And just for fun, something that worked for you in the past may not work in the future. If you are ok on it and it is helping then I'd say keep on rollin'. Once you don't need it, discontinue it with your Dr's ok. Some meds have a taper schedule.
I love reading through all the posts. This is such an awesome bunch of folks!
31 days is YUGE!!!!!!
Keep going!
