Give and get support around quitting
As you begin you still don't know quite what to expect but you've
packed enough supplies unlike the other times you've turned back.
As you work your way further in, you realize you've
been here before and, you're a little nervous.
There's no sky to see but there is light.
There will be some darker days without so much light but then, you
get a glimpse from a high place and it gives you muster to keep going.
And then it happens. You have your first day when you didn't think
about smoking all day. It refreshes you and gives you strength to travel on.
By now, you've learned not to let obstacles beat you. Instead of
resisting you've learned to step around them and move on.
Finally. You've stayed the course and seen your way out
of the mazey, hazy, crazy, ways of smoking.
Hallelujah!
Gorgeous quit in pictures indeed!
Beautiful!! Thank you so so much! Very inspiring!
I love picture books. I'm saving this for bedtime stories with the kids!
Love this!
What spectacular photographs! Where were these taken? I absolutely love the analogy! Great job, Dale.
Probably Arizona (possibly Utah).
