Preparing for 'That Day'

I had some ideas that I wanted to document in my blog here. I actually have some great ideas as far as things to keep me busy. In preparing for "that day", I'll list some things. Just some ideas to get my brain  thinking for the day I quit. 🙂

List 5 things you liked about smoking:
1. It helped relax me when stressed (supposedly).
2. It gave me something to do with my hands.
3. The taste was good, at the time.
4. Number One again.
5. It felt good to smoke; my body felt full and complete.

List 5 reasons you want to quit smoking:
1. I won't stink anymore.
2. My health will improve.
3. It'll be healthier for my loved ones.
4. I won't be under the rule of smoke; I will be free from it's bondage.
5. So I don't have to constantly pick up after myself smoking; emptying ash trays, won't get ashes on me, etc.

What are 5 things you can do with your hands to keep them busy when you are quitting smoking?:
1. I can use my metal OMM balls, and meditate while using them.
2. Juggle
3. Draw or write. (Write a letter to cigarettes, write a letter to God, write a letter to future Self).
4. Get a new hobby like working with clay; sewing
5. Massage my own arms, legs, feet, etc. 🙂 (Also, walk on my treadmill / use my sit-bicycle).

What are 5 things you can do to keep yourself from smoking?
1. Use cough drops
2. Put Vick's vapor rub under my nose (I saw this in another post - excellent idea!)
3. Chew gum.
4. Get a straw and cut it the size of a cigarette and keep it in mouth.
5, DRINK WATER!

I'm just getting started on this, but I can finish it in comments, I assume 🙂 I just like to give some ideas that I could do... listing 5 things is just minimum; I know if I really sat down and thought it out for a few hours, I could have a list of 20 or more things.
This is in my blog so I may refer back to it as needed.
