I started smoking when I was 12 to be cool. I quit at age 37 for 7 years through hypnosis. I started craving cigarettes again and would occasionally borrow one from a smoker. I had Hodgkin's Lymphoma and had surgery, chemotherapy and radiation during this 7-year quit. A year after my cancer treatments, I met a guy who smoked my old cigarette brand and we moved in together. I went right back to smoking at least 15 cigarettes a day. That was 26 years ago. In 2015 I was was diagnosed with breast cancer and again had surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Still in remission, but I was diagnosed with lung cancer in September 2019. I received radiation and tested clear in January 2020. My passion in life is traveling. I took a European trip for 5 weeks in 1979. In 1983, I moved to Germany and got a civilian job with the military. My more recent trips have been to Australia for 3 weeks and 3 trips to Southeast Asia for a total of 2 months. I haven't been able to quit smoking even after lung cancer treatments.
