Hi Ex’s...
I went to the Pulmonologist yesterday for my general check up. I had my peak flow and asthma test and I scored lower then last spring which was disappointing, but he and I both said, it is the cold temperatures and the wet weather. The combination is deadly on my lungs. I asked about the Lung CT scan given to those who smoked, since he sorta blew me off about this last year, well he said, I didn’t meet the criteria (didn’t smoke enough and enough years) and he can’t just send me for one because it has a higher precedence of giving breast cancer. He told me he will keep it in the file should he find a reason for me to have the test. I have been going to him for 5 years and he is the first Pulmonologist who has gotten my issues under control, so I don’t know what to think...
One thing I do know, I will leave for Florida condo February 1st...to get away from these cold temperatures....
