The Long Road Ahead

Hello All Exers,

I wanted to share a little about the road I have been on and how I am continuing to improve every day.  I started this journey to improve myself, my life, and my health.  It has not been an easy road to travel.  I used to smoke every time I would get in the car, every time I have a drink, and every time I would see someone else smoking.  Those were my triggers and I could not get away from them.  I would come across them every day and sometimes several times a day.  It's been a long road with several ups and downs.  I would get really cranky sometimes and I would get angry sometimes but I kept on trucking to continue moving forward.  Now I feel so much better, I enjoy every day, and I go hiking, workout at the gym, trying to lose weight and get in my skinny jeans someday.  I used to be a size  I am now looking ahead at the road in front of me and I can't wait for that next road trip in my clean car, no smoke residue, or ashes all over the place, and cigarette burns around my windows.  It's a new adventure that I am looking forward to with a healthier me.  Thank you, I just wanted to share.
