I am back in a familiar place. I have a couple weeks left of nicotine replacement. I use very few lozenges. I'm starting to want to smoke. It's a psychological thing. I miss the frequent boost from nicotine. I miss the routine of putting something in my mouth.
Coworkers are smoking again, announcing that they are going out to smoke. I have to learn to tune that out again.
i need to deal with these triggers--tiredness and the oral fixation before I get off nicotine replacement. I don't want to relapse again. It doesn't make any sense for me to ever return to smoking.
