sandie361's Status Update on 08/05/2020

Hello, I'm Sandie,
Tomorrow is my quit date and I'm so nervous about quitting smoking. The anxiety is building up, but I'm definitely ready to stop this nonsense. Smoking has affected me financially, it has affect my health a great deal, so I'm done. I'm just a bit anxious. Thanks for your support.

Welcome Sandie.  Lots of new quitters lately--you'll have lots of company.  Welcome to the Ex and congrats on your tomorrow quit date. Being anxious is normal.  Just remember, it's one day at a time.  Don't think past that for now.  I hope you've been reading posts on the site in preparation of your quit.  Understanding nicotine addiction and having a quit plan makes quitting doable.  We're here to support you on this journey to being nicotine free.  Just reach out any time you need encouragement or want to share your journey.
You got this!

Welcome to EX, hope you made through day one and made it a Day WON.  We all got nervous before we quit.  It's natural.
