So quitting is now a contest???!!!

Hmm.  I logged in today with 241 days of freedom and thought that I would share that accomplishment.  However, after navigating the site I found that now I have to earn points to level up and that my "ranking" is somewhere near the bottom.  Thanks for the boost to my self-esteem Ex!  I always viewed my blogs as a personal journal through my quit. I never cared whether or not anybody liked them because to me they were just merely how I was feeling and a way for for me too look back upon and see how far I have really come.  Now I guess that does not matter?  Because 20 people didn't like what I have to say I will forever stay a NOOB?  Also with the giving of merit badges, it is almost like the facebook games where you have to have friends, who are also playing the game, give you stuff to advance.

So like my blog or not.  Comment, or remain silent.  Share or forget.  Thumbs up or Thumbs down.  Mention or not.  Tag or not.  It doesn't matter to me.  I came to conquer, not play games.

I am on my one millionth attempt at quitting. I have smoked for well over 15 years. A few years ago I developed a few health problems that gave me some concern but not enough to quit. Finally, my wife gave me an ultimatum; her or the cigarettes. I finally got my head out of you know where on June 2, 2016 and have never looked back.
