Up early thinking about the 6-12 inches of snow that's coming. So I won't be able to go for a short walk. I will find something to do to keep busy.

You can get some exercise at home! Do a series of sit/stands from a good height chair, raising your arms out straight as you stand, letting them fall to your sides when you sit. You can march in place (be sure to swing your arms). If you have stairs, do a couple sets of them. You can do toe touches, jumping jacks (you don't actually have to jump - just the motion will do the trick) or sit ups. Or - dance to some of your favorite music. You can also find videos on YouTube! Or - shovel some snow - GREAT exercise! No need for a gym.
(and smoking is not required for any of it!)
If snow is not something you are accustom to that is a good amount of snow .
Yes if you are not comfortable or can't walk do do something indoors . There are many u tube ideas and programs and every bit as good maybe even better than the gym . Only reason I think gym for me now is an option once vivid is done is to get out and sometimes it's motivating to be with others . Summer brings all kinds of outdoor opportunities to excersise as well ( grateful for covid in that sense people are seeing that ) and get the same benefits .
There is also a get moving group here at Ex as well . You will find it under groups , or maybe someone will list the link . It's an open group .
If you don't get snow often stay in stay safe but enjoy its beauty too . I'm just a bit tired of it myself lol living in snow country lol .
Of note , due to covid where I live gyms are closed to anyone who does not do one on one training . They are also expensive !
Congrats on quitting smoking .
Good Job msmmm215 stay in and stay warm...maybe cozy up with a herbal tea and a good book...Just a thought...Colleen 790 DOF
Yikes that's a lot of inches! We are getting 4 or 5 here. I was actually thinking about joining the gym, but i am not completely sure about that during covid.
